- Being at the seaside.
- 80s pop music.
- Motown music reminds me of my mum.
- Bambi reminds me of my stepmum (it has been mentioned on a number of occasions that I’m the only person she know’s to have cried whilst watching it. In my defence, I was about 8).
- Portchester castle where we used to go when I visited my Nan.
- Mint-chocolate ice-cream reminds me of my Granny.
- 2p arcade machines (I still head straight to them if we're at the arcardes. I'm such a big spender).
- Enid Blyton (Noddy, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Up the Faraway Tree....) and Beatrix Potter books.
- Clarks shoes - my Granny always used to buy my school shoes and I'd end up with a patent t-bar style (they still make them, look at these!). Even now I still can't bear the look of patent shoes...
- Teddy bear. He's been in my life ever since I can remember. Before me, he'd belong to my Dad and Uncles. After me, he was passed to my brother and sister. I'm (almost) ashamed to admit that I smuggled him back in my teens.
I'd love to hear some of the things that remind you of your childhood - share them in the comments section!
I didn't spend my childhood in Britain, but one of the things you listed does remind me of it. 80's pop music. :)

What a sweet list! 2p machines and being at the seaside would definitely be on my list too! x
